    Rancho Cordova Civic Light Orchestra (rcclo.org), an all-volunteer community orchestra, presents its “Remembering Home” Concert, Pete Nowlen, Conductor, Saturday, March 18, 2017, at 7:30 p.m., Cordova High School Performing Arts Theatre, 2239 Chase Dr. (between the High School and Hagan Community Park), Rancho Cordova.

    Program includes Dvořák’s Symphony № 8, Mendelssohn’s Hebrides Overture (Fingal’s Cave) with guest conductor Brian O’Donnell, and the world premiere of the RCCLO’s own commissioned work by composer and soloist Derek Sup: Piano Concerto: Debra’s Recital honoring the memory of his piano teacher, Debra Miller, with Mr. Sup at the piano.  This is RCCLO’s annual fund-raising concert and Silent Auction, the only time each year it charges admission:  $20 each, going on sale 2/1/2017 through Brown Paper Tickets http://rememberinghome.brownpapertickets.com  – $25 at the door.
